Can you still buy the Human Touch iJOY Total?
No. The iJOY Total is “currently unavailable” on Amazon, and Human Touch no longer sells any iJOY model on its own store. Its closest current chair is the WholeBody 5.1: a compact swivel recliner with FlexGlide back massage and a calf and foot massager, for users 5’0″ to 6’2″, at around $1,400 (October 2026).
Closest replacement
Human Touch WholeBody 5.1
Same compact recliner idea, with a 3-year warranty instead of two.
More programs and heat
Human Touch WholeBody 8.0
Seven programs, warm-air heat and BodyMap targeting in the same furniture style.
Full-size chair on Amazon
Real Relax Favor-06
3D SL-track and zero gravity for users 5’0″ to 6’1″, at a similar price to the 5.1.
Key takeaways
- The iJOY Total was a budget massage recliner, last listed on Amazon at around $630. Nothing from Human Touch now sells at that price.
- The WholeBody 5.1 is the nearest match: similar compact size and FlexGlide massage, a better warranty, but more than twice the price.
- If you’re open to a full-size massage chair, the Real Relax Favor-06 costs about the same as the 5.1 and adds an SL-track and zero gravity.
- The WholeBody chairs need 9 inches of space behind them; check your room before ordering.

Human Touch iJOY Total: what it offered
The iJOY Total was Human Touch’s entry-level massage recliner. It wasn’t a full massage chair: it was a compact power recliner with a back massager built in and an extending calf and foot massager. From its Amazon listing, it had:
- FlexGlide 360 rollers on an S-track that followed the curve of the spine
- Three shoulder-height positions for the rollers
- Four massage techniques and three auto programs
- An extending foot and calf massager with air compression and adjustable intensity
- Power recline and an ergonomic head pillow
- A 285 lb weight limit, a 95 lb frame and a 29-inch doorway requirement
- A 2-year limited warranty
It was last listed at around $630 and had about 59 Amazon ratings averaging 3.9 out of 5. Its appeal was simple: a real roller massage for well under $1,000, in a chair light enough to move yourself.
Buying a used iJOY?
At this price a used one can still be good value, but its 2-year warranty will almost certainly have run out. Test a full program, check that the rollers move up and down smoothly, that the calf massager inflates and that the recline motor works both ways.
The best current replacements
We checked Human Touch’s current US catalogue and Amazon in October 2026. Neither WholeBody chair had a new offer on Amazon from Human Touch itself: the WholeBody 8.0 was listed by a reseller at around $2,095 new, above Human Touch’s own price, with a used chair shown first. So we link both to Human Touch directly.
Closest replacement
1. Human Touch WholeBody 5.1
Fits users 5’0″ to 6’2″
Why 7.5: a published fit range, a 3-year warranty and a light 107 lb frame lifted it, while only three programs, no zero gravity and 9 inches of rear clearance pulled it down.
The WholeBody 5.1 is the closest thing to an iJOY Total that Human Touch still makes. It’s a furniture-style recliner rather than a pod-like massage chair, with FlexGlide 3D orbital massage for the back and a retractable ottoman that massages the feet and calves. The back and leg rest have separate motors, and the base swivels 55 degrees.
It’s compact: 40 inches long, 28 inches wide and 40 inches tall upright, 67 inches long reclined, and 107 lb. It fits users 5’0″ to 6’2″ and up to 285 lb, the same weight limit as the iJOY Total. It was $1,399 on Human Touch’s store in October 2026 (regular price $1,799). For $199 you can upgrade the 3-year limited warranty to 3 years of in-home service, parts and structural cover.
What we like
- Compact and light, like the iJOY Total.
- 3-year warranty, with an in-home service upgrade.
- Swivel base and a calf and foot massager.
Watch out for
- More than twice the iJOY Total’s last price.
- Only three auto programs.
- Needs 9 inches behind it.
Best forFormer iJOY shoppers who want the same compact recliner style from the same brand.
Skip it ifYou want zero gravity or a full-size chair’s coverage at this price.
More programs and heat
2. Human Touch WholeBody 8.0
Fits users 5’0″ to 6’2″
Why 7.4: the 3-year warranty, light 114 lb frame and furniture look lifted it, while the lack of an SL-track or zero gravity and its 9 inches of rear clearance pulled it down.
The WholeBody 8.0 is the step up: seven auto programs instead of three, warm-air heat and Human Touch’s BodyMap PRO targeting, in the same swivel-recliner style. It was $1,999 on Human Touch’s store in October 2026 (regular price $2,999), or about $2,350 with white-glove delivery. We compare it with full-size chairs in our guide to the best massage chairs under $2,000.
Best forBuyers who want the iJOY’s living-room look with more programs and heat.
Skip it ifYou want zero gravity or roller work on the glutes and hamstrings.
Full-size chair on Amazon
3. Real Relax Favor-06
Fits users 5’0″ to 6’1″
Why 8.4: the low price, a published height range and a 3D SL-track lifted it, while the 1-year warranty and conflicting weight limit pulled it down.
If you don’t mind a bigger, more obviously “massage chair” look, the Favor-06 gives you far more massage for about the same money as the WholeBody 5.1: 3D rollers on an SL-track that reaches under the seat, zero gravity, 20 airbags, heat and foot rollers. The trade-offs are size, weight and a 1-year warranty.
Best forBuyers who care more about massage coverage than furniture looks.
Skip it ifYou want a compact recliner, or a warranty longer than a year.

Talk to your doctor first if…
You’re pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted device, a history of blood clots (DVT), osteoporosis, or you’ve had recent surgery. A massage chair can ease muscle tension, but it isn’t a treatment for any condition.
How we chose these chairs
We haven’t physically tested these chairs. In October 2026 we checked Human Touch’s current US catalogue and each chair’s tech specs, the iJOY Total’s Amazon listing, and Amazon offers for each alternative, including the seller and whether the offer was new or used. We scored them on published fit, massage coverage, room fit, warranty and price, as set out in how we test.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Human Touch iJOY Total discontinued?
Human Touch hasn’t announced it, but no iJOY model appears on its US store and the iJOY Total’s Amazon listing says it’s currently unavailable with no restock date.
What replaced the Human Touch iJOY?
The WholeBody 5.1 is Human Touch’s closest current chair: a compact swivel recliner with FlexGlide back massage and a calf and foot massager, at around $1,400.
What was the weight limit of the iJOY Total?
Its Amazon listing gave a maximum recommended weight of 285 lb, the same as the WholeBody 5.1 and 8.0.
Is a Human Touch WholeBody a real massage chair?
It’s a massage recliner. You get roller massage on the back and a calf and foot massager, but no SL-track under the seat and no zero gravity. For those, look at a full-size chair like the Real Relax Favor-06.
