iRest A306 Review (2026): Now Sold as the MYTHIA MD906?

We earn a commission if you buy through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. It never decides which chair we recommend. How we make money

Can you still buy the iRest A306?

Not under the iRest name. The Amazon listing that sold the iRest A306 now sells the MYTHIA MD906, a chair with the same mix of features: AI voice control, a yoga stretch, an SL-track and zero gravity. It fits users 5’0″ to 6’1″ and up to 260 lb, and was around $1,380–1,600 in October 2026. iRest chairs no longer appear in Amazon US search.

Key takeaways

  • The iRest A306 was a budget smart chair known for AI voice control and a yoga-stretch mode.
  • Its Amazon listing now sells the MYTHIA MD906 with the same headline features. We couldn’t confirm that MYTHIA and iRest are the same company, so treat it as a close match, not the identical chair.
  • The MD906 has only a handful of Amazon ratings so far. The Favor-06 and Champ II have longer track records.
  • All three chairs top out around 6’1″ or don’t publish a height range, so tall buyers should look elsewhere.

What happened to the iRest A306?

The iRest A306 was one of the first budget massage chairs on Amazon to offer AI voice control. It combined an SL-track with zero-gravity recline, a yoga-stretch program, foot rollers, full-body airbags and Bluetooth audio, at a price well below the big brands.

iRest chairs no longer show up in Amazon US search. The A306’s original Amazon listing is still live, but it now carries the MYTHIA brand and the model name MD906. Best Buy also lists MYTHIA chairs with iRest-style model names, such as the A303C. That points to a rebrand, but neither company has said so publicly, and we couldn’t confirm the MD906 is built exactly like the A306.

Start with the seller you bought it from. If you bought on Amazon, use the “Contact seller” option on your order, since the same listing is still active under the MYTHIA name.

TrackSL, 53–55″ (conflicting)
Zero gravityYes, up to 165°
Weight limit260 lb
Wall clearanceNot published
Warranty3-year coverage

Why 7.8: a published fit range, voice control, a 3D SL-track and 3-year coverage at this price lifted it, while very few owner reviews, a 260 lb limit and conflicting track-length figures pulled it down.

The MD906 keeps everything the A306 was known for. You can start and stop the massage, change modes, heat and airbags, and move the seat by voice. There’s a yoga-stretch program, 12 modes, a body scan, airbags for the shoulders, arms, calves and feet, foot rollers, lower-back heat and a calf rest that extends about 7 inches.

It’s 57.9 inches long, 29.9 inches wide and 43.7 inches tall upright, 66.1 inches long reclined, and 156 lb. It arrives 95% assembled and rolls through a 30-inch doorway. The listing gives the track as 55 inches in its title and 53.15 inches in its specification section.

It had only three Amazon ratings in October 2026, so there’s little owner feedback yet. One of the three complained that it’s bulky for a small home.

What we like

  • AI voice control and a yoga-stretch program.
  • Published 5’0″–6’1″ fit range.
  • 3-year coverage and Amazon shipping.

Watch out for

  • Very few owner reviews so far.
  • 260 lb weight limit.
  • Track length differs within the listing.

Best forFormer iRest shoppers who want voice control and a stretch program on a budget.

Skip it ifYou want a chair with a long track record of owner reviews, or you weigh over 260 lb.

Why 8.4: the low price, a published height range and a 3D SL-track lifted it, while the 1-year warranty and conflicting weight limit pulled it down.

The Favor-06 has the same fit range as the MD906 and a similar 3D SL-track, usually for less money and with a much longer track record. You give up voice control and the yoga-stretch program, and the warranty is shorter at one year. It’s our top pick in the best massage chairs under $2,000.

Best forBuyers who’d rather have a proven chair than voice control.

Wall clearance7″
Warranty1 yr parts and labor, yrs 2–3 parts

Why 7.9: the 3D SL-track, 3-stage zero gravity, 7-inch wall clearance and an Amazon offer sold by Osaki itself lifted it, while the missing height range and a 264 lb limit pulled it down.

If you’d rather buy from an established brand with US support, the Champ II costs a few hundred dollars more but is sold on Amazon by Osaki itself and needs only 7 inches from the wall. It has no voice control. See our Osaki OS-3D Pro Cyber review for more on it.

Best forBuyers who want a known brand and a chair that sits close to the wall.

Skip it ifYou need a published height range before you buy.

We’ve also covered other chairs that have left the market, including the OWAYS massage chairs and the RELAXONCHAIR MK-Classic.

Talk to your doctor first if…

You’re pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted device, a history of blood clots (DVT), osteoporosis, or you’ve had recent surgery. A massage chair can ease muscle tension, but it isn’t a treatment for any condition.

How we chose these chairs

We haven’t physically tested these chairs. In October 2026 we checked the original iRest A306 Amazon listing, Amazon search for current iRest chairs, the MYTHIA MD906 specification section, and live Amazon offers for each alternative, including the seller. We scored them on published fit, massage coverage, room fit, warranty and price, as set out in how we test.

Frequently asked questions

Is the iRest A306 discontinued?

It’s no longer sold under the iRest name on Amazon US. Its old listing now sells the MYTHIA MD906, a chair with the same headline features.

Is MYTHIA the same as iRest?

We couldn’t confirm it. The MYTHIA MD906 took over the iRest A306’s Amazon listing, and Best Buy sells MYTHIA chairs with iRest-style model names, which suggests a rebrand. Neither brand has said so publicly.

What is the weight limit of the MYTHIA MD906?

The listing gives a maximum load of 260 lb and a designed height range of 5’0″ to 6’1″.

Does the MYTHIA MD906 have voice control?

Yes. The listing says you can start and stop the massage, and change modes, heat, airbags and seat position by voice.
