Is the Real Relax Favor-03 a good massage chair?
Yes, for the money. At around $900 (October 2026) it’s one of the cheapest chairs with a moving SL-track, plus zero gravity, airbags, foot rollers and heat, and it has over 3,600 Amazon ratings averaging 4.2 out of 5. The catches are a 240 lb weight limit, a 1-year warranty and, for some owners, weak coverage between the shoulder blades.

Key takeaways
- The Favor-03 has been on sale for about nine years and was updated for 2026 with eight auto modes, a voice guide, a child lock and a pause button.
- It fits users 5’1″ to 6’1″ and up to 240 lb. That weight limit is lower than most full-size chairs.
- Owners mostly praise the value, the foot rollers and easy assembly. The most common complaint is that the rollers don’t reach well between the shoulder blades and neck.
- If you can stretch to around $1,300–1,500, the Favor-06 adds full 3D rollers and a 300 lb limit.

Real Relax Favor-03 review: specs, fit and owner feedback
Best under $1,000
Real Relax Favor-03 (2026)
Fits users 5’1″ to 6’1″
Why 7.9: an SL-track and zero gravity at about $900, a published fit range and a long record of owner ratings lifted it, while the 240 lb limit, a 1-year warranty and reports of weak upper-back coverage pulled it down.
The Favor-03 is Real Relax’s entry-level SL-track chair. The rollers travel from your neck down under the seat to your hips, which is the main thing that separates it from cheaper chairs with fixed rollers. The 2026 version adds eight auto modes (up from six), a voice guide that announces modes and settings, a child lock and a pause button.
You also get:
- Airbags for the shoulders, arms, calves and feet, with three intensity levels
- Foot rollers with three intensity levels
- Lower-back heat
- A calf rest that extends about 6.5 inches
- Bluetooth speakers and an LCD controller
It measures 55.1 x 29.5 x 43.3 inches and ships in two boxes. On Amazon it was $899.99 in October 2026, sold and shipped by Real Relax, and the same price on Real Relax’s own store. Real Relax also sells refurbished units on its store for less when they’re in stock.
What owners say
Across more than 3,600 Amazon ratings, 65% are 5 stars and 9% are 1 star. The patterns we saw in the reviews:
- Value: the most common theme. Several owners who had tried far more expensive chairs said this one got surprisingly close for the price.
- Assembly: usually described as quick, often 10–15 minutes with two people.
- Foot rollers and calf airbags: frequently singled out as a highlight.
- Upper back: several owners said the rollers don’t reach well between the shoulder blades and the neck. Some fixed this by removing the back pad or adjusting their position.
- Setup issues: a few found an airbag hose had come loose in shipping, which they fixed by reconnecting it. One owner reported Bluetooth pairing problems with most devices.
- Strength: some family members found the pressure too strong, even on lower settings.
What we like
- Moving SL-track and zero gravity for about $900.
- Sold and shipped by Real Relax itself.
- Thousands of owner ratings, mostly positive.
Watch out for
- 240 lb weight limit.
- 1-year warranty.
- Weak upper-back coverage for some users.
Best forFirst-time buyers under 240 lb who want a real SL-track chair without spending over $1,000.
Skip it ifYou weigh more than 240 lb, mainly want upper-back and neck work, or want a long warranty.
Check before you buy
Weigh yourself against the 240 lb limit, and check you’re within 5’1″ to 6’1″. The chair arrives in two boxes, so don’t panic if one turns up first. If the airbags don’t inflate after assembly, check that the air hoses on the sides are pushed fully home before contacting support.
Real Relax step-ups worth considering

Talk to your doctor first if…
You’re pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted device, a history of blood clots (DVT), osteoporosis, or you’ve had recent surgery. A massage chair can ease muscle tension, but it isn’t a treatment for any condition.
How we reviewed this chair
We haven’t physically tested the Favor-03. In October 2026 we checked its Amazon listing and Real Relax’s own product page for specs, price, seller and warranty, and read through owner reviews on Amazon for recurring patterns. We scored it on published fit, massage coverage, room fit, warranty and price, as set out in how we test.
